If you can’t park in your garage anymore, you’re not alone. Boxes from the last move, a broken treadmill, old patio furniture, a fridge that stopped working years ago: it adds up. Placer Dumpster Rental And Junk Removal LLC is based in Rocklin, and we clear garages in Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Granite Bay and Loomis. You point, we carry it out, load it and haul it away.
Fastest way to a price: text 2 or 3 photos of the garage to (916) 878-0304, one wide shot plus close-ups of anything big, and tell us what city you’re in.
Two ways to clear a garage
We do both, so we’ll point you to whichever one costs you less.
Option 1: We do the lifting (junk removal)
Best when you want it gone in one visit and don’t want to carry heavy things yourself. We price the job on how much space your stuff takes up in our trailer, and loading is always included.
- $150 minimum: a few items, like a recliner, a mattress and some boxes
- About $500: half of our 15-yard trailer, often enough for a one-car garage
- About $900: a full 15-yard trailer, for a packed two-car garage or a garage plus other rooms
Option 2: Rent a dumpster and go at your own pace
Best when you want to sort as you go over a weekend, or you’re pairing the garage with a remodel or yard project. We drop the dumpster in your driveway in the morning, usually between 7 and 10 AM.
- 10 yard: $399 for one day, a common pick for a single garage
- 12 yard: $449 for one day
- 15 yard: $499 for one day, for a garage plus a house cleanout
Extra days are $50 each through day 5, and days 6 and 7 add nothing, so a full week tops out at $599, $649 or $699. Need it longer than 7 days? Call us for pricing. Delivery, pickup and the first 1 ton of dump fees are included, and weight over 1 ton is prorated at $110 per ton. Not sure which size? See our dumpster size guide.
What we haul out of garages
- Boxes, bags and general clutter
- Old furniture, mattresses and patio sets
- Refrigerators, freezers, washers and dryers
- TVs, computers, monitors and other electronics
- Exercise equipment, bikes, toys and sports gear
- Shelving, workbenches, scrap wood and leftover building material
- Yard tools, branches and bagged yard debris
- Heavy items like gun safes, pianos and hot tubs
We recycle what we reasonably can. See where your junk goes after pickup.
What we can’t take
Garages are where the leftover chemicals end up, so check this before your appointment. We cannot accept paint, solvents, gasoline, hazardous waste, car batteries, railroad ties or telephone poles. Our hazardous waste and e-waste guide covers where those items can go in Roseville, Rocklin and Lincoln. If you’re not sure about something, text us a photo and we’ll tell you.
How to get your garage back in one afternoon
- Do a quick keep pass first. Pull out what you’re keeping, donating or selling. Anything left is what we take.
- Set the chemicals aside. Paint cans, fuel, pool chemicals and batteries go in their own corner so they don’t end up in the load.
- Text us photos. We’ll give you a price for the load and pick a time that works.
- We load it. You don’t need to drag anything to the curb or the driveway. We carry it out from where it sits.
- Sweep and park. That’s it.
Moving out? Our moving cleanout checklist lays out what to clear and when. Only have one or two big pieces? Compare us with the City’s options in our bulky item pickup guide, and for an old mattress see our mattress disposal guide.
When people call us for a garage cleanout
- Downsizing. A lot of our work in Sun City Roseville and Sun City Lincoln Hills starts in the garage.
- Clearing a parent’s home. Our estate cleanout page covers the whole house.
- Rental turnovers. Tenants often leave the garage for last.
- Getting ready to list. A clear garage photographs better and shows buyers the space.
- Finally parking inside. No life event needed.

Garage cleanout FAQ
How much does a garage cleanout cost?
Junk removal is priced on the space your items take up in our 15-yard trailer, with loading included. The minimum is $150, about $500 fills half the trailer (often a one-car garage) and about $900 fills the whole trailer. Text photos to (916) 878-0304 for a price on your load.
Is it cheaper to rent a dumpster for a garage cleanout?
It can be if you're willing to load it yourself. A 10 yard dumpster is $399 for one day with delivery, pickup and the first 1 ton included. If you want it gone in one visit without lifting anything, junk removal is usually the easier choice.
Do I need to move everything to the driveway first?
No. With junk removal we carry items out from wherever they are in the garage and load them ourselves.
What can't go in a garage cleanout?
We cannot accept paint, solvents, gasoline, hazardous waste, car batteries, railroad ties or telephone poles. Set those aside before we arrive.
Can you take an old refrigerator or freezer from the garage?
Yes. We take refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers and other large appliances.
Which cities do you cover for garage cleanouts?
We clear garages in Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Granite Bay and Loomis, plus nearby areas listed on our service area page.
