Junk Removal in Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln & Placer County

Placer Dumpster Rental and Junk Removal is a locally owned junk removal service covering Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Auburn, Granite Bay, Loomis and the rest of South Placer and Sacramento counties. We do the loading. You show us what needs to go, and we carry it out, load it and haul it away.

Junk removal is priced by volume — you pay for the space your items actually take up in the trailer — with a $100 minimum. Labor is included, and there are no extra item-specific surcharges. We take everything from a single piece of furniture up to a full house or estate cleanout.

The quickest way to get a price is to call. You can also text a few photos of the pile to (916) 878-0304 — photos help us understand the job before we arrive. We answer 7:00am to 9:00pm, seven days a week, or you can send us a message.

How Junk Removal Pricing Works

Junk removal is priced on volume — how much space your load takes up — rather than by the item. That keeps things simple and means you are not charged a separate fee for one awkward piece.

  • Priced by volume. You pay for the space your junk actually takes up.
  • $100 minimum. That is the smallest job we bill.
  • Loading and labor are included. You do not have to move anything to the curb.
  • No item-specific surcharges. No extra add-on fees per appliance, mattress or piece of furniture.

Junk is hauled in a 15 cubic yard trailer. Most jobs use only a portion of it, and the price reflects the space your load actually occupies — a small pickup is not priced like a full trailer. Because every load is different, we give you a price for your specific job first, and nothing is loaded until you have agreed to it. Call or text (916) 878-0304 for a quote.

What We Remove

If it fits in the trailer and it is not on the short exclusion list below, we can usually take it. Common jobs include:

  • Household junk and general clutter — the boxes, bags and odds and ends that build up in a garage, spare room or shed.
  • Furniture removal — sofas, mattresses, tables, chairs, dressers and similar pieces.
  • Appliance removal — refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers and other large appliances.
  • Electronic waste — TVs, computers, monitors, printers and other e-waste.
  • Yard debris — branches, leaves, brush and grass clippings after a cleanup or trim.
  • Construction and remodel debris — drywall, wood, flooring and other material left behind after a project.
  • Garage cleanouts — clearing out a full garage so you can use the space again.
  • House, estate and hoarder cleanouts — whole-property clearouts, including difficult jobs.

What We Do Not Take

There are a few things we cannot accept:

  • Paint
  • Solvents
  • Gasoline
  • Hazardous waste
  • Car batteries
  • Railroad ties
  • Telephone poles

If you are not sure about something in your pile, call or text (916) 878-0304 and ask before we come out. It only takes a minute and it saves surprises on the day.

How It Works

  1. Get in touch. Call or text (916) 878-0304, or use our contact form.
  2. Describe or show us the junk. Tell us what needs to go, or send a couple of photos.
  3. Get your price. We price the job on the space it will take up, with the $100 minimum.
  4. Pick a time. We schedule a slot that works around your day.
  5. We load it. You do not need to lift or move anything.
  6. We haul it away and recycle what we reasonably can.

Jobs are usually handled by the owner, with additional help brought in for larger cleanouts.

From a Single Pickup to a Full Cleanout

We want both ends of the job list. A single couch, an old fridge or one truckload of garage clutter is a perfectly normal call for us — the only limit is the $100 minimum. At the other end, we handle full garage, house, estate and hoarder cleanouts, where a property needs to be emptied room by room.

If you are downsizing, clearing a rental between tenants, settling an estate or finally reclaiming the garage, call or text and we will walk through what is involved.

Junk Removal or Dumpster Rental — Which One Do You Need?

We do both, so we would rather point you at the one that suits your project than sell you the wrong service.

Junk removal makes sense when

  • You want someone else to do the loading.
  • You want the material gone in one visit, without a container sitting on your driveway.
  • It is a one-off cleanup — a few items, a room, a garage — rather than an ongoing project.
  • You are not able to load heavy items yourself.

A dumpster rental makes more sense when

  • You would rather load at your own pace.
  • The work runs over several days.
  • It is an ongoing remodel, tear-off or long cleanout that fills up gradually.
  • The volume is large enough that a container on site is simply more practical.

If a dumpster is the better fit, our dumpster rental pricing covers every size, and you can compare the 10 yard, 12 yard and 15 yard dumpsters or book one online.

Clean concrete, dirt, asphalt or brick is a different job again. Heavy material has its own weight limits and its own container, so those loads go through our concrete and dirt dumpster rental rather than standard junk removal.

Junk Removal Service Area

Our junk removal service area is the same one we cover for dumpster rentals: South Placer and Sacramento counties. That includes Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Auburn, Granite Bay, Loomis, Newcastle and Penryn, along with Antelope, Citrus Heights, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Carmichael, North Highlands, Foothill Farms, Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, Sacramento and the surrounding communities.

You can see every community we cover on our service area page. If you are just outside the usual radius, let us know — we can often still help.

What Happens to Your Junk

We recycle material when possible rather than sending everything straight to the landfill. What can be recycled depends on the load and on what the local facilities accept on the day.

Same-Day Junk Removal

Same-day junk removal may be available depending on the schedule. Call or text (916) 878-0304 to check availability.

Frequently Asked Questions About Junk Removal

How much does junk removal cost?

Junk removal is priced by volume — how much space your items take up — with a $100 minimum. Loading and labor are included in that price, and there are no separate item-specific surcharges. Because every load is different, we give you a price for your specific job before anything is loaded. Call or text (916) 878-0304 for a quote.

Do you load the junk, or do I have to?

We do the loading. You do not need to drag anything to the curb or lift heavy items yourself — just show us what is going and we will carry it out and load it. Labor is included in the price.

What types of junk do you remove?

General household junk, furniture such as sofas, mattresses, tables and dressers, appliances including refrigerators, washers and dryers, electronic waste such as TVs, computers and monitors, yard debris, construction and remodel debris, and full garage, house, estate and hoarder cleanouts.

What will you not take?

We cannot accept paint, solvents, gasoline, hazardous waste, car batteries, railroad ties or telephone poles. If you are unsure about an item in your pile, call or text us before the appointment and we will tell you.

Do you handle full house, estate and garage cleanouts?

Yes. We take jobs of all sizes, from a single item pickup up to full garage, house, estate and hoarder cleanouts. Larger cleanouts are usually handled by the owner with additional help brought in as needed.

Is same-day junk removal available?

Same-day junk removal may be available depending on the schedule. Call or text (916) 878-0304 to check availability. We answer 7:00am to 9:00pm, seven days a week.

Should I use junk removal or rent a dumpster?

Choose junk removal when you want us to do the loading and you want the material gone in a single visit. Choose a dumpster rental when you would rather load at your own pace, when the work runs over several days, or when the volume makes an on-site container more practical. Clean concrete, dirt, asphalt and brick go in a separate heavy-material container rather than a standard junk load.

What areas do you cover for junk removal?

The same area we cover for dumpster rentals: South Placer and Sacramento counties, including Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Auburn, Granite Bay, Loomis, Citrus Heights, Antelope, Orangevale, Folsom, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Rancho Cordova and the surrounding communities.
