Residents can drop off household hazardous waste, e-waste and separated recyclables for free at the Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA), 3195 Athens Avenue in Lincoln. HHW drop-off runs daily 8am to 5pm, up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds per visit.
We don't take paint, solvents, gasoline, hazardous waste or car batteries. Pool chemicals and leftover paint from a remodel belong at that HHW drop-off, not in a junk load.
If you live in an HOA neighborhood, junk removal is often easier than a dumpster: there's no container on the driveway, and the job is usually done in one visit.
Big homes, one visit
We carry from wherever the junk is: a bonus room, the back of a three-car garage or the far end of the yard. For a larger cleanout, the owner usually brings in extra help.
