Whitney Ranch is one of Rocklin’s newest neighborhoods: a master-planned community of about 1,300 acres, annexed into the City in 2003. It is home to Whitney Park, the Ranch House community center and miles of trails. We are a family-owned dumpster and junk removal company based in Rocklin, so Whitney Ranch is home turf for us.

Every rental includes delivery, pick-up and 1 ton of disposal. Extra weight is $110 per ton, prorated. Extra days are $50 each, and a full 7-day dumpster rental is $599 (10 yard), $649 (12 yard) or $699 (15 yard).
Heavy material, meaning clean concrete, dirt, asphalt or brick, goes in our concrete and dirt dumpster at $399 for the first day, with no dump fees.
Projects we see in Whitney Ranch
- Backyard build-outs. Many newer homes get pools, patios or full landscaping after move-in. Excavated soil goes in the heavy-material box, and plant debris and packaging go in a standard dumpster.
- Garage organization and storage builds. Old shelving, boxes and leftover move-in clutter.
- Interior upgrades. Flooring swaps, built-ins and kitchen refreshes. Most construction debris can share one box, and a 12 yard is the usual size for a mid-size remodel.
- Fence and gate replacements. Wood fencing fits easily in a 10 yard.
Whitney Ranch HOA rules
Many Whitney Ranch neighborhoods have a homeowners association, and HOA rules are separate from City permits. Before you book, check your CC&Rs or ask your management company whether there are limits on how long a dumpster can stay, where it can sit, or whether approval is needed. We don’t publish HOA rules because they differ by association, but we will schedule delivery and pickup to fit whatever window you are allowed. A short HOA window is easy: book only the days you are allowed, at $50 per extra day, up to a full week of $599 (10 yard), $649 (12 yard) or $699 (15 yard).
Permits in Rocklin
On your own driveway, Rocklin does not require a permit. Rocklin’s encroachment permit page lists “parking a dumpster in the street” as one of the examples that need a permit. You apply through the City’s eTRAKiT online portal and submit the application form, the permit fee, two copies of plans, and approved insurance forms (public and auto liability with minimum limits under Municipal Code §12.04.060). Driveway-friendly boxes
Our dumpsters are about 7 feet wide and 10 to 12 feet long, designed for residential driveways. We don’t rent oversized 20 to 40 yard containers. For bigger jobs, we swap loads: additional loads are $349, $399 or $449, and each includes its own 1 ton.
