“Roseville bulky item pickup” is one of the most-searched trash questions in the area. Couches, recliners, old desks and appliances don’t fit in a cart. Here’s what’s actually available in each city, based on official city and hauler websites as of October 2026.
Roseville
- No year-round curbside bulky pickup is listed on the City’s trash pages.
- Spring Neighborhood Clean-Up events: the City and RCONA host free Saturday drop-off events for Roseville residents only in the spring, at locations near neighborhood associations. The most recent schedule on the City page lists Saturdays in April and May. Check the City’s page for next year’s dates and the list of items they don’t accept.
- City dumpster rentals: Roseville’s Waste Services rents six-yard dumpsters for light yard clean-up and household refuse, first come, first served. The City suggests two weeks’ notice.
- Anything else can go to the WPWMA for a fee.
Rocklin
Rocklin’s hauler, Recology Auburn Placer, lists appliances, electronics, mattresses, furniture, scrap metal, textiles and carpet as bulky items to drop off at its locations, including the WPWMA in Lincoln. Rocklin also offers free curbside pickup of flattened cardboard in a 3×3 ft or smaller pile next to your cart on collection day.
Lincoln
- Residents with an active utility account can apply for a temporary 3-yard bin from the City.
- Free Wednesday pickup covers universal waste (anything with a plug), not furniture.

When junk removal is the better deal
DIY drop-off is cheapest if you have a truck, a strong helper and a free afternoon. Call us when:
- You don’t have a truck, or the item is too heavy to lift safely.
- It’s upstairs, in the back of a garage, or behind a gate. We carry it out.
- You have a mix of items: furniture, an old fridge, e-waste and yard debris in one trip.
Our junk removal is priced by volume with a $150 minimum, labor included, and no item-specific surcharges. For a bigger cleanup where you’d rather load at your own pace, a 10 yard dumpster is $399 with delivery, pick-up and 1 ton included.
